The government of Córdoba has released its first assessment of the crackdown on informal parking attendants and window washers, reporting that enforcement actions have declined over the weeks as compliance increases. The Ministry of Security presented the balance, stating that the controls have discouraged these activities.

The provincial government, supported by a national report indicating a reduction in robberies and homicides, defends the measures against parking attendants in the city center and is accelerating the discussion of the Anti-Bunker Law in the unicameral legislature.

Truck driver arrested for drunk driving

In a separate event, a truck driver was arrested after attempting to flee a traffic control and assaulting a police officer. The Highway Patrol intercepted him after detecting dangerous maneuvers on the road. Authorities seized the truck, alcoholic beverages, and a bladed weapon.
